Crouser & Associates offers consulting, estimating, pricing and educational services for the printing industry and has since 1985. Since beginning the firm, Tom Crouser has presented at printing trade shows, conferences and meetings throughout the United States, Canada, England and Australia.
When Tom Crouser began working with other printers in 1985, he found he always had to deal with price issues first. By 1987, he developed the first Crouser Guide to Estimating Printing in order to answer commonly asked price questions for clients and it was first published to the general market in 1989.
Likewise, Crouser & Associates has developed other products and services for printing companies by following this simple rule:
Work with companies individually. In doing so, common problems and common solutions will emerge. When the answers are proved, create a lower-cost product or service that may be adopted by many.
What Role Does Price Play in Printing Success? Lowering your price does NOT get you more business and NO ONE ever told you so, including your Economics 101 professor! But it’s common “stinking thinking” among business owners that it does. More than that, price does NOT determine profitability. Learn about this and more in this 19 minute free video. Learn the three factors making up a price strategy. See effects of only a slight price variance. Click here to view the video.
CPrint® International is a complete management and marketing franchise for independent small press and digital printers. It provides all of the benefits of a franchise, such as lower equipment costs, training and marketing material along with the freedom of being independent without a long-term commitment. What’s more, the CPrint® franchise is a fractional franchise, meaning it is only sold to those who currently are in the printing business. As a result, you do not have to change the name of your business, rather your business has the opportunity to meet the certification requirements of CPrint® and use the designation as an additional reason for customers to buy from you.
