CPrint® is an international franchise of Crouser & Associates, Inc. with 85 affiliates located throughout the United States and Canada. The franchise is an outgrowth of the work we have done within the printing industry beginning even even prior to 1985 when Crouser & Associates was formed. Tom Crouser founded a printing company in his hometown in 1966 and operated it for twenty years before becoming the quick printing industry’s first full-time consultant in 1985.
From 1985 through 2002, the firm provided guidance for printing companies through a consultant-client relationship. Providing advice to small press and digital printers yielded many common issues and, quite often, common solutions.
Over seventeen years a business model evolved. In 2003, it was decided that we could bring great benefit to clients by including a common marketing component to the model which could be used in all markets. The common model was based on the fact that all affiliates had to maintain specific standards for customer service in order to maintain their certification in the program. Other commonalities were all companies were printers and we were international. So, the concept of certified printers international was born and encrypted to the marketing acronym CPrint®, which is a registered trademark of Crouser & Associates, Inc.
However, the marketing component meant we had evolved into a franchise and thus we thus spent 2003 complying with all federal, state and province franchise laws where we operated. Officially CPrint® Interenational was launched January 1, 2004.
CPrint® now maintains a separate staff of printing-industry specific consultants and programs from our World Headquarters in Big Chimney, West Virginia. Consultants are located in Florida, North Carolina and West Virginia. Regular training and board meet locations include: Chicago (Schaumberg), Illinois; Jacksonville, Florida; Richmond, Virginia; Nashville, Tennessee; Denver, Colorado; and Long Beach, California.
